This policy defines the standards of behaviour, professionalism, and ethics expected of all YSP members. It ensures a respectful, inclusive, and intellectually rigorous environment aligned with YSP's mission.

Respect & inclusion

Treat others with respect, dignity, and fairness, regardless of background, nationality, identity, or perspective.

Integrity

Act with honesty, accountability, and academic integrity in all contributions.

Professionalism

Maintain a tone and conduct appropriate for policy, research, and collaboration.

Collaboration

Engage in constructive dialogue, valuing diverse viewpoints while working towards shared goals.

Engagement

  • Participate actively and thoughtfully in discussions and projects.
  • Provide constructive, respectful feedback.
  • Debate ideas, not individuals.

Communication

  • Use clear, respectful, and professional language.
  • Avoid spam, disruption, or irrelevant content.
  • Follow channel structures and guidelines.

Accountability

  • Meet deadlines and commitments where possible.
  • Communicate early and honestly about delays or constraints.
  • Take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Academic & ethical standards

All work must be evidence‑based, properly cited, and free from plagiarism or fabrication.

Enforcement & accountability

Violations may result in a verbal or written warning, removal from roles or responsibilities, or suspension or removal from YSP. Enforcement is handled by Managers and Directors at first review, with escalation and final decisions made by the C‑Suite.

Reporting concerns

Members are encouraged to report misconduct, harassment, discrimination, or breaches of policy. Reports can be made to the HR / Talent team, the relevant Director, or any C‑Suite member.

All reports are handled with fairness and confidentiality.
By participating in YSP, members agree to uphold this Code of Conduct, act with integrity and professionalism, and contribute meaningfully to the community.
